TRIPLE2 OMniteksas Merino Specialist

Lithuania - Merino Specialist

TRIPLE2 Partner since - 2019

Employees - 190

We love merino wool. Especially for our cycling jerseys and hoodies. But merino is a diva. It wants to be treated with care. Not just by you, but also in production. That's why it takes specialists who offer everything from the yarn, to the dyeing, the knitting of the fabric, and the confection of the products all from one source.

In Kaunas, the beautiful Lithuania, our premium merino products are created: jerseys, t-shirts, hoodies, sweaters, and jackets made from merino and merino blends are knitted here and processed into your Triple2 product by skilled employees. The 190-member team is supported by state-of-the-art machines that work not only precisely but also particularly environmentally friendly.

Since 1928 in Lithuania

It all started in 1928 with a sock production. Back then, Omniteksas laid the foundation for its current know-how as a knitting specialist in Lithuania. Even today, Omniteksas is characterized by high quality and precision in knitting. This is evident not least in the quality of our Merino products.

In its current, modern form, Omniteksas UAB has existed in Lithuania since 2001 and produces approximately 3 million products and about 700 tons of knitted fabrics annually.

Made by humans

Who made my clothes? Good question! First of all: Rad products, whether pants, shirt, or jacket, are handmade. There are people in the world who cut, sew, and package them. True craftsmanship, then. Who makes your products?

Here is an example from Lithuania: Rasa A. has been working at Omniteksas for 15 years. She is responsible for special sewing processes. A job that requires expertise, finesse, and patience. Rasa actually worked in a spinning mill. Since she started working at Omniteksas, she has enjoyed it so much that she has remained loyal to the company.
