Much more important: new collar for better protection at the neck, new elastic band for better hold at the back, and smooth YKK zippers including zipper puller on the front zipper and the zipper pocket on the back, so you no longer have to fish for the mini zippers. And hey, if the zipper puller bothers you - just take it off and keep it as a spare part for jackets, vests, and the like.
By the way: The new pocket design on the back is now more accessible thanks to the beveled sides and still holds everything necessary without any issues. Ideal for a summer bikepacking trip or the next gravel tour.
