We generally do NOT package our goods in plastic bags, films, or other plastics. We use a sturdy cardboard box for all products. Of course, made from recycled paper. Advantage: We can reuse the packaging multiple times - even after returns. And the best part is: You can also use the boxes sensibly: for spare parts of your bike, for sorting small parts, or as gift packaging.
Our shipping packaging is also environmentally friendly. As much as possible, we ship our goods in paper bags made from recycled paper. This allows for space-saving and environmentally friendly shipping.

Lavalan is a filling made from 100% natural and renewable raw materials. It combines the unique properties of sheep's wool with the easy-care characteristics of corn-based polylactide fibers (PLA). However, for this filling, the wool must be processed into a light and airy fleece to achieve an insulating effect.
"How it works and what our innovative wool insulation can do, you can read here."
"We produce our products exclusively with selected, long-standing partners with an extremely high level of competence in Europe:"
- Croatia - High Tech

There are different jackets at TRIPLE2 that must serve different purposes. Some need to provide insulation, some need to be windproof, others focus on a small pack size, and some must withstand longer downpours.
Basically:
- Only products that have an integrated membrane that prevents moisture penetration, taped / glued seams, and water-repellent zippers are waterproof.
- Water-repellent are all other products that have at least one water- and dirt-repellent impregnation. All TRIPLE2 jackets and vests models have this impregnation. The impregnations are 100% PFC-free.
Do you want to learn more about the topic of impregnation? Then click here.
"In order to make your shopping experience as pleasant as possible, we have introduced an automated size finder as part of our new online shop."
This determines your personal size recommendation based on the actual measurements of the products and your inputs into our tool. This way, you can easily find the right size.
Too fancy? Then feel free to take a look at our classic Size Chart.
Our products are developed according to the SIZE GERMANY principle. The basis is a series of measurements of the German population, last conducted in 2009 by the Hohenstein Institute and Human Solutions GmbH.
"Based on this data, we develop products that optimally fit a wide range of people. As a rough guideline for you: Your usual clothing size corresponds to the clothing size of TRIPLE2."
You can find out more about sizes here.
"In principle, our products do not noticeably shrink when washed, provided they are washed correctly. Therefore, please strictly adhere to the care instructions on this website and on the care label sewn into the product, especially for merino wool products."
You can find more about the care of your TRIPLE2 products here.
Questions about product care
In case your product has a defect, breaks, or you possibly crash, TRIPLE2 offers a free repair service and a crash replacement program.
In principle: wash as little as possible. Every wash cycle affects the lifespan of your product. However, if it is necessary, your TRIPLE2 product belongs in the washing machine. Be sure to pay attention to the care label instructions of your product!
"It is best to use environmentally friendly special detergents for functional textiles. Never use fabric softener or bleach! Our tip: The environmentally friendly water-based products from Nikwax. They extend the lifespan of the waterproofing of waterproof and breathable products. For these types of clothing, an extra rinse cycle is also worthwhile. It is best to always wash the products on a gentle cycle or in a special program for functional textiles."
If you want to know more about care and materials, click here.
"Actually, it's quite simple. First, you should check the washing instructions that are sewn into every triple2 product. They explain the specifics in detail. Generally, the following procedure applies for washing merino wool:"
- Close all zippers if available
- Turn the shirt or the pants inside out.
- If you wash multiple items, then Merino products made of lightweight material should be washed in a mesh bag.
- We recommend a wool wash program for our products.
- Clean your merino products: Therefore, best washed cold. For stubborn dirt, a maximum of 30°C on the wool wash cycle!
- Duration: maximum 30-40min (depends on the machine)
- Spinning: maximum 800 rpm
- Always wash the products with a liquid wool detergent.
- Avoid laundry detergents and enzyme-containing detergents – these damage the wool fiber and the natural lanolin layer.
- Avoid bleaching and fabric softeners as well as other care products, as they accelerate the formation of pilling.
- "Are you on the go and have neither a washing machine nor wool detergent with you? We recommend hand washing with lukewarm water and your hair shampoo. Because what your hair can handle, your Merino wool jersey can handle too. But: Do not knead and wring too hard. This damages the Merino fiber."
You can find more tips and tricks about merino wool here.
Waterproof products, i.e., products with a membrane, should be washed in the washing machine with a combination of functional detergent and wash impregnation if the product is no longer waterproof and needs to be impregnated. The environmentally friendly solution from Nikwax has proven effective. This has the advantage that only one wash cycle is needed and that no spray with environmentally harmful propellants has to be used.

We are cyclists and we love it! Mountain bike, road bike, gravel bike. Our garage is full of bicycles, not SUVs. For us, the bicycle is a means of transportation in daily city traffic, a fun machine in the bike park, and a sports device on the road. It is a vacation travel means and family fun. We look back on 30 years of cycling experience with countless hours in the saddle. That’s why we know what works and what doesn’t. That’s why we live cycling in our family business. Rider owned, rider driven.
And by the way: No one is more sustainable than us!
Behind TRIPLE2 is primarily a team of people who are passionate about bicycles.
"Whether it's design, development, marketing, or controlling, everyone at TRIPLE2 loves getting around on a bike. Each in their own way. Whether it's a 40-year-old steel Bianchi, high-end carbon racing arrows, a dirty gravel bike, or a bike park MTB."

WERE IT ALL BEGAN
Triple2 - Not just a name but an attitude.
It all started in 1994. Back then, we discovered this epic trail at Lake Garda, which still bears the name 222 today and became the namesake for triple2. We set out on this adventure wearing cut-off jeans and T-shirts. It had style. There was no function.
"Today we love to stylishly bike to work and directly to the summit after the office. That’s why we develop cycling clothing that leaves no wish unfulfilled, whether in the city or in nature. Whether it’s waterproofing, breathability, or a comfortable fit, we create products that combine sustainability, fair production, and timeless design."
