Over 200 cyclists have participated in our survey on the DESIGN of the gravel bike jersey. That's really cool. Thank you for that! 

"As always, your input makes it much easier for us to make a design decision. Of course, we have our favorites too. But this way, it’s just more fun and gives us the confidence that we are doing the right thing!"

In the previous surveys, we have learned a lot from you about your wishes and requirements for the new Gravelbike jersey. At the end of the article, you will find all the links to the previous results, articles, and videos once again. 

"Before we get started, here’s a brief overview for everyone who is new and doesn’t know what we are actually doing here, where we stand, and what has happened so far:"

The five phases of development

"We are taking you along on our development journey of the new bikepacking and gravel bike jersey. You have the opportunity to actively participate in the development. Those who stick it out until the end will have the chance to win a Gravelbike Merino Kit worth €500!"

Phase 1 - The Idea - completed

"We want a new jersey that is specifically tailored to the needs of bikepacking adventurers and gravel bike riders. It should be short-sleeved and ideally made of merino. Those are the only requirements." 

Phase 2 - The Brainstorming - completed

"At this point, you enter the game for the first time. We want to develop the best gravel bike jersey in the world as a team. Because we believe that together with you, we are significantly smarter. Let's start the development together. Let's kick things off with our questionnaire!"

Phase 3 - Prototyping - ongoing!

"We analyze the results of the questionnaire and incorporate your ideas into the first prototypes. From the choice of materials to the equipment and features of the jersey, all aspects are checked for feasibility and subsequently implemented." 

Phase 4 - Testing

"Let's get on the bike! In this phase, we will jointly test the first prototypes thoroughly. What works, what needs to be improved? After various uses and many kilometers on the gravel bike, we will know more." 

Phase 5 - Recap

"Questionnaire number 2 is waiting for you. We present our results and want to know: What is good, what needs to be improved on the gravel bike jersey of the future?"

Depending on the needs, an additional development cycle with prototypes and preproduction samples follows at this point, before moving into the production of our new bikepacking and gravel bike jersey.

Why are we so excited? The design opens up various possibilities for incorporating different functions into our gravel bike jersey. How about a version that features a windproof insert in the chest area (shown here in dark gray)? Perhaps even as a long-sleeved autumn variant? You see: There are many possibilities to start further developments here.

QUESTION: "To the ladies: What color do you like best for your gravel bike jersey?"

Thank you for your color choice! We are pleased with your balanced selection of colors from Peacoat blue to Valencia red for your gravel bike jersey. At this point, we would like to say something: We try to meet several requirements with our colors: The colors must fit into our collection so that they can also be combined with other products. We aim to cater to a wide taste, but it is clear that colors are subjective and we probably won't meet everyone's taste. 

And: In our first survey, we received many comments about colors. The consensus: Preferably muted, natural colors. However, it is also clear: We will start with a manageable selection of colors and continuously expand the color palette. Bright colors will also be part of the offering in the future. More about this in our video!

QUESTION: "To the gentlemen: Choose your favorite design for your gravel bike jersey?"

Thank you to the gentlemen out there: You have chosen 'The Transporter' for your gravel bike jersey. With this, you have not only opted for the same design as the ladies but also for the best option for further developments. Whether it's a long-sleeve jersey for winter, a windbreaker for autumn, or further developments in block design.

"We are pleased with your choice of colors. We are especially excited about the color 'Armagnac'. Because we believe that this will be a great addition to our collection. The color 'Laurel Wreath' is currently leading in this survey with 48.6%, which you may already know from other TRIPLE2 products and which is one of our best-selling colors."

Thank you for your numerous comments on the topic of design and color choice for your gravel bike jersey. We have, of course, read ALL of them and will incorporate your wishes into our development. Whether it concerns colors, fit, or material.
