Nikwax - Tech Wash® - Special detergent for impregnated cycling clothing

Use Nikwax Tech Wash® in the washing machine...

Tech Wash® can be applied undiluted to stubborn stains with a sponge or brush before washing. Remove all non-washable parts. Shake the product well before use. Follow care instructions. Do not use conventional detergents.

- Remove all detergent residues from the detergent compartment.
- Put clothing item(s) in the washing machine (maximum 2 pieces).
- Use 150ml in medium hard and hard water areas and 100ml in soft water areas for 1-2 parts.
- According to care instructions, wash.


Nikwax Tech Wash® can be applied by hand...

- Use gloves.
- Immerse garment(s) in 6L of lukewarm water in a bowl.
- Use 150ml in medium hard and hard water areas* and 100ml in soft water areas for 1-2 parts.
- Rinse three times in clear water.

* If your kettle scales quickly, then you have hard water.

Use 200ml for hard water.

Clothing treated with Nikwax Tech Wash® does not need to be dry before reproofing is applied...

"If impregnation is not necessary, air dry or dry at a low temperature in the dryer, provided the care instructions allow it. Parts do not need to be dried before impregnation. For impregnating breathable clothing, use Nikwax TX.Direct®, for equipment use Nikwax Tent & Gear Solarproof®, and for cotton, canvas, and polyester/cotton use Nikwax Cotton Proof™."
